Client:    Scandinavian Tourist Board (STB) Project:    Increase awareness of Scandinavia in Australia

MISSION
To create a 3 year public relations strategy to increase awareness of Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway and Sweden) as a travel destination in Australia
   

RESULT 

  • Develop the brand ‘Visit Scandinavia’ in Australia
  • Developed an informative and interactive website www.visitscandinavia.com.au suitable for the Australian market
  • Components included: About Scandinavia, Destinations and Attractions, Transportation, Accommodation, Tour Itineraries, News, STB Info, Travellers Tell and Media
  • Set up a long term information flow between STB Australian and tourism boards in the three Scandinavian countries
  • Proactive media relations with selected media, including television, print, radio and online, suited to the target audience
  • Organise and host regular media trips to Scandinavia, complete with a full itinerary of cultural outings
  • Organise trade events and other activities to assist the local trade
  • Promotional activities throughout the years
