MISSION
To raise brand awareness and increase immediate online traffic to Expedia.com.au, one of the worlds leading online travel companies, to celebrate their one year anniversary in Australia

   
RESULT
  • A free outdoor experiential event aimed to captivate and interact with a ‘corporate’ audience
  • Created an Expedia branded ‘holiday escape’ in a busy city location 
  • Staff dressed as Expedia airhostesses in specially designed branded uniforms
  • Design of a ‘flying ice chair,’ a replica of the Expedia logo, was crafted on site by Australia’s leading ice sculpture
  • "Strike a pose – WIN a get away" photo competition was conducted at the venue to generate traffic to the Expedia website: www.expedia.com.au   
  • 150 participants in the photo competition, all displayed on Expedia’s website. A judging panel nominated the top 10 photos and selected a winner awarded with a getaway in Sydney
  • 4,000 branded vouchers and flyers distributed prior to the event and positioned strategically around the surrounding city areas
  • 34% direct increase in traffic to Expedia.com.au the day of the event
